Traffic is driving outside and there isn’t a lot going on. Not much to see or do. It’s cloudy and damp out there, and boring in here.
Of course this is to be expected, considering it is spring and rain comes with spring so I can’t go outside. The beginning of the season was more like summer. Then the rain started.
Although they say “April showers bring May flowers”, it stinks having to be inside a lot. So here I am gazing out the window in front of me, wishing for it to be summer. Writing and waiting until dinner. I then remember that the most important time is now, because now is all we have.
If we waste that short period of time, we cannot get it back. Like when you burn wood to fuel a fire. Once the wood is burned, it cannot come back for more use.
Now take a moment and think, ask yourself, “Do I really want to do this?” and
“Is this what the LORD would have me do?” When you use your time wisely, you will be happy you did; especially later on when you can’t change what you did earlier in life.
Think about the benefits of using your time wisely, and the consequences of wasting it. Which seems better? To me, using my time wisely is the best and wisest thing to do.
I hope you liked my first ever blog article! 🙂
